Gavin Goodwin

Biography

A graduate of the Master of Information Studies program at McGill University, Gavin’s experience as a librarian prior to joining Mount Allison as the Creative Arts Librarian includes serving as a reference librarian at Concordia University in Montreal and as the music librarian for the Quebec branch of the Canadian Music Centre. As a musician, his performance interests lie in the interpretation of contemporary saxophone repertoire, having completed both undergraduate and graduate degrees in performance specializing in 20th and 21st-century repertoire for the instrument. His performance career includes appearances across Canada and the United States as well as the United Kingdom and Italy.
