Dr. Anwar completed her PhD in 2017 from the Department of Physics at the University of Alberta. Then, she started working as Research Associate and Lab Technician at the same department. Later, she joined the Department of Physics, Memorial University of Newfoundland as an Instructor in 2018. Since August 2020, Dr. Anwar has been teaching at the Department of Physics, Mount Allison University as an Assistant Professor.
Research interests: Geophysics, Earth Magnetic Field - Direction and Intensity, Rock-magnetism, and Paleoclimate.
