Preparing for a Fall like no other

Maritime hospitality will remain the same

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed nearly every aspect of physical life on the Mount Allison campus, from course delivery to residence layouts. University faculty and staff, in partnership with students and the Town of Sackville, have been working throughout the summer to plan for a fall like no other.

While move-in day and the first day of classes will certainly look different, Mount Allison’s and Sackville’s Maritime hospitality remains the same. There will be a Town-Gown stopping point to safely welcome students  back in September and Orientation will include both virtual and on-campus activities for incoming students. Spaces across campus, including residences and the dining hall, have been adjusted to meet Public Health guidelines, with only single rooms for the upcoming academic year. Residence students who need to self-isolate  upon returning to the province will be accommodated on campus.
