1980s

Dan Steeves (‘81) was recently inducted into the Sackville Arts Wall for Visual Art (print making). Congratulations Dan!

1990s

Michael de Adder ('91, LLD '20) was appointed to the prestigious Order of Canada last December, recognizing his outstanding contributions to the world of editorial cartooning.

“I feel incredibly proud, incredibly honoured. Whenever cartooning is honoured these days, it’s a huge honour,” says Michael, who started his journey at as a cartoonist for the Argosy. His cartoons have been published in The Chronicle Herald, the Toronto Star, and The Washington Post.

Congratulations to Natasha Lynn Ostaff (‘96), who has been appointed the new GM of Business Operations for the Moncton Wildcats! Natasha has more than two decades of business experience in financial and operations planning, with recent roles as branch manager for Fero Waste & Recycling, director of finance & administration for the Greater Moncton International Airport, and senior manager assurance services for KPMG. She is a chartered professional accountant (CPA, CA) and serves as a committee member for Events Moncton, 3+Corporation, Headstart Moncton, the Moncton West and Riverview Rotary Club, Riverview Boys & Girls Club, and Hospice SE NB.

2000s

Mélanie Poirier LeBlanc (‘00) was recently appointed as a sitting provincial court judge in New Brunswick. Congratulations Mélanie!

Michael Hamilton (’03) was recently made a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs. Congratulations Michael!

Congratulations to Jeanette Patell (’01), who has been announced as the new director of government affairs and public policy at Google Canada, after almost three years as head of government affairs & public policy for YouTube Canada.

2010s

Tenor Marcel d’Entremont (‘13) and pianist Dakota Scott-Digout (’17) lead a masterclass for Mount Allison music students last October.

Last December, Quinn Everett ('15) and Claire Akin ('15) were reunited while participating in the 2023 North American Weightlifting Open Finals in Wilmington, NC. Quinn is a member of Team Canada and trains in Halifax, NS. Claire trains in Providence, RI. Both frequented the Mount Allison AC gym as students and were both involved in the Mounties Football program during the 2014 season. After Mount A, Quinn was a CFL player and 5-time Canadian national weightlifting champion.
