Following the fall exam period from Dec. 5-14, 2019, Mount Allison University’s holiday break is from end of business day Friday, Dec. 20, 2019 to Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020. All University buildings will be closed during this time. Various services close earlier and open later, so please check the schedule below.

Regular office hours resume on Friday, Jan. 3, 2020. Residences open Saturday, Jan. 4 and classes start Monday, Jan. 6, 2020.

The winter shutdown period for Mount Allison residences will begin on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019 at 5 p.m. Residences will re-open for all students at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020.

Jennings Dining Hall

Open regular hours during exams, open Saturday, Dec. 7 & 14: 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Last 2019 meal service is Sunday, Dec. 15 from 9 a.m.- 12 p.m. (hot breakfast).

Jennings reopens at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020 for brunch and will be open Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. Regular hours resume Monday, Jan. 6, 2020.

Gracie’s Café

Regular hours from Monday to Friday during exams, open Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Last 2019 service is Friday, Dec. 13. Regular hours resume Monday, Jan. 6, 2020.

The Flying Bean

Regular hours from Monday to Friday during exams, open Saturday, Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 8, from 4-7 p.m. Last 2019 service is Friday, Dec. 13. Regular hours resume Monday, Jan. 6, 2020.

Athletic Centre and Fitness Centre (located in the Wallace McCain Student Centre)

Closing at 11:45 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, 2019, with the exception of the weight room which closes at 9:30 a.m. that day. All facilities will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 3, 2020. Notices for individual facilities are available at the links below.
