Events for grads of the Class of 2024

Each year, Mount Allison hosts a number of celebratory events and activities for graduates during Convocation Weekend.

Grad bracelets available until April 30

Members of the Class of '24 can purchase Grad Bracelets ($50) at the MASU Office (1st floor WMSC) until April 30. Grad bracelets must be purchased in advance and will not be available to purchase Convocation Weekend.

Sponsored by the Mount Allison Students' Union, the Mount Allison Alumni Board, and TD Insurance.

Friends and family can purchase tickets to these events at registration at Windsor Hall during Convocation Weekend.

First stop, registration! Pick up your Convocation Weekend Bracelet and key to your on-campus accommodations.

The East Coast Lounge will be open until 5 p.m. Sit down and relax, play some cards, and catch up with friends and classmates.

2024 Fine Arts Graduate Exhibition Opening
Owens Art Gallery

Presenting the work of BFA and BA major in Fine Arts students graduating from the Pierre Lassonde School of Fine Arts — a culmination of their degree program.

Admission is free.

MtA Trivia!
The Pond Pub, Wallace McCain Student Centre

Everyone is welcome to test their trivia knowledge on everything MtA for a chance to win great prizes.

Class of 2024 Class Photo
Convocation Hall

After the official class photo, the Class of 1974 will join the Class of 2024 to take a historic photo of the two classes together.

Alumni Chapel Celebration
University Chapel

Join alumni in song, prayer, sacred text, and reflection — hosted by the Multi-faith Chaplain and Spiritual Care Coordinator. People of all faiths, spiritual, and philosophical paths are welcome.

Monday, May 13

Graduating students in BSc, MSc, BComm: gather for student procession
Purdy Crawford Centre for the Arts

Students should have their cap, gown, and hood (folded) with them.

It takes time to organize students! Please arrive on time. A number of marshals will be available to direct you. Learn more about the student procession.

Guests of graduating students should go directly to Convocation Hall.

You’ve worked hard to earn your university degree. Show the world your accomplishment in a frame especially designed for Mount Allison graduates. Have your diploma professionally framed through the on-site program following your Convocation. Diplomas can be framed for no additional cost, and this service will be available for 2 hours following each Convocation ceremony.

Get your garnet and gold merchandise through the Mount Allison Bookstore, open all through Convocation Weekend. Remember to return your academic regalia at the Bookstore following your ceremony!
