Tax receipts

Mount Allison issues tax receipts for tuition, fees, and other incomes as required by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Tax receipts are made available through Self-Service by the end of February each year.

T2202 tuition and education tax receipt

T2202 tax forms (Tuition and Enrolment Certificate) are made available through your Self-Service > Employee > Tax Information (selfservice.mta.ca).

Make sure to select the applicable year. A PDF file will be displayed which can then be printed.

Tuition tax receipts are made available in late February for the preceding tax year.

This form is used to certify your eligibility for tuition and education amounts. Students can also use it to show transfers of tuition and education amounts to a designated person.

T4A tax slip

These are primarily for students who received scholarships, bursaries, or prizes from Mount Allison and/or received external awards where Mount Allison was responsible for issuing the T4A.

T4A forms (Statement of Pension, Retirement, Annuity, and Other Income) are made available through Self-Service > Employee > Tax Information (selfservice.mta.ca). A PDF will be displayed which can then be printed.

Please note: if there is no information in your Self-Service account, you do not have a T4A.
